Hi all,

Now I have read many different posts on this topic and there are a lot of similar answers, but I am trying to get the best idea for my situation.

Scenario:

My fiance were having sex. She was initially on top of me and I heard a popping noise from my penis region. I have heard this sound before and never really thought much of it. We then changed to the doggy-style position. I have noticed before when doing it in this position that I get worked up quicker. We were not doing it too vigourously either.

When it came to the point of me ejaculating, I pulled out and ejaculated. But there was some very red blood in my semen. I have never in my life had this before (not even in masturbation).

There was a significant amount of blood that had me worried enough to consult Google directly after. Problem is that there are so many 'diagnosis' out there, that I am not certain which to believe.

Is this is problem? Was it just a burst blood vessel? I had no blood in my urine thereafter either. Should I consult a doctor? I took it upon myself to not go to the doctor, but acknowledged should it happen again that I will go to the doctor.

Any assistance in this matter would be great.

Blood in Semen
I had the same thing happen to me three times. Twice from sex and once from ejaculating. The first time I freaked. Thought it might be cancer. I remembered during sex, that I came all the way out on a long-stroke and upon reentry I missed the return stroke ...not hitting the penis very hard but enough, obviously, to rupture a blood vessel or something. It healed in less than two weeks. I take asprin therapy which may have contributed to the ease of the rupture.

Be safe.
You might as well just be sure and go see a doctor. Nothing bad could come of seeing one. But if there is something wrong you should definitely get it taken care of. Best of luck x
