My boyfriend and I were having sex a few days ago and when he ejaculated it looked like it was just blood.. He said it didn't hurt at the time, but now a few days later his penis is tender. this has never happened before to him and we have no idea what it could be. Any ideas?

He should see a doctor. Not to scare you but blood coming out of normal areas, is not good. My late father was excreting blood and it stopped so we thought it was nothing.Months later, it turned out to be cancer. So to be safe, Please go to a doctor and have him checked.
