A few days ago I tripped and hit a wooden fence head first with the impact over my left eye. I blacked out, and afterward got up brushed off and continued the day being dizzy and using ice packs, otc pain killers and some homeopathic meds for swelling. That evening I threw up and by the next morn was scared enough by the advice of friends to go for a hospital check. The CT scan was clear, no bleeding, but 50% of the swelling remains 4 days later. I also have discomfort in one eye as if it won't close and pain behind both eyes. Also headache, overwhelming tiredness, and a feeling of being off balance. Unless I really aim where I'm going I curve to the left when I'm walking. The Dr. sent me home to bed, no driving etc. to follow up with Neuro next week. I have been doing nothing for 3 days and will continue but I am a single parent with deadbeat ex so I can't hold still too long. Besides I hate doing nothing! I am wondering have others had this experience of walking in a curve? How long until all symptoms are gone?
