Hi,

I have been taking birth control pills for the past few months.
I haven't been keeping up with taking them everyday at the same time, sometimes I have taken 2 or 3 at a time.
However in January I esperienced my period for two weeks straight and I haven't had a period since and I'm concerned.
My left side and pelvic area have been cramping for the past 2 wks, as well as my lower back.
I keep thinking my period is coming but nothing comes, I 3 home pregnancy test on 2 came out negative and one possitive.
I am concerned whether this could be an ectopic pregnancy or whether is a side effect from the pill.

I would strongly suggest you check this out immediately with your OB-GYN...My daughter had one of these and had to be operated on immediately...I hope all goes well, but do check it out...

Good luck,
Caroline
