Poop eating
Yes...my mother is 89 and clearly has no concept of what she is doing. Nearly every bowel movement involves her eating some poo.

Hello, I have spent time working with people with alzheimer's disease and have seen similar situations. Although its hard to supervise all bathroom visits, it may help to limit some of that behavior. Is she dealing with a lot of constipation as well? If so, she may be using her fingers to "dig" out the poop which then puts her in a situation where she might then eat it. If that's the case, possibly a gentle stool softener may help reduce her desire to dig. ?
