I am almost 18, about to graduate high school and I am really having a hard time. For three years now I have been trying to lose weight and each time I try, I stick with the plan for about a day maybe two, but then I just get a craving to eat. its not a hunger feeling, just wanting to have something in my mouth to munch on. I've tried gum as an alternative but its not the same. I dont know what to do because I dont know how to suppress/ignore these cravings. I need to lose weight i'm about 40 pounds over weight and type two diabetes runs in my family. help!

When you wake up in the morning, on an empty stomach, drink a cup of green with a squeezed lemon. It's one way of curbing your appetite throughout the day. If my food contains bell pepper, I eat it because it also aides in curbing my apetite. If they don't work for you, motivate in disciplining yourself to cut back on the portions of the food that you regularly eat. It worked for my friend:)
