Is it better to eat before you run or after. Usual run is about 2 to 2 1/2 miles.

I like to have a light snack for energy, usually carbohydrates, or oatmeal. Oatmeal is healthy, and fills you up for a long time, because it digests slow. I would rather eat a heavier meal, after my workout.
