my period was due yesterday. I still havent got it and I was throwing up yesterday and have been sick to my stomach today. And my boobs are sore now.

ok, sorry it took me so long to respond, but I decided to wait till its been 14 days since we first had sex. Though I still have yet to get my period, and have gained new symptoms. I'm starting to worry. I think he suspects I might be, yesterday he asked if I was, and I told him no. Its PMS. I don't want to alarm him unless I have had a positive test. Though weird thing is, several people have asked if I was pregnant. and usually when Im pms-ing, people ask if its that time of the month. So I don't know, but I'll keep you updated.

Ah! Okay so our situation is similar, except i've had dry sex. I've been having symptoms too, but i got a post from my forum that its no way possible to be pregnant because the sperm can't penetrate. My period is supposed to be due yesterday, but i'm not sure, if symptoms persist and my period is still delayed, then i'll take a pregnancy test. Good luck!

Oh KLYN821, hun don't worry, you can't get pregnant from dry sex. There has to be penetration.
So far, I just have this feeling that i am, 2 weeks I've had these symptoms and their getting worse. And the ring around my nipples is notably darker and sore as hell. Along with I'm hungry every few hours. And find myself wanting weird stuff, like Apricot jam and rice on toast. (my bf feels thats weird. I think its awesome). Or ll week I've been wanting a chicken tostada, I'm not a big mexican food lover, and in the last 3 days I've gone through a gallon and a half of milk( I normally don't drink plain milk). My period is now 5 days late, and I have cramps, but they feel a bit different then my normal period cramps, and my whole stomach is just sore, i've been nauseas the last few days, I actually have a thrown up a few times. Several people have asked if I was and my mom actually asked if I've had sex with my bf, which is weird, then yesterday she "jokingly" said "wow what are you eating for two or something?" while i was eating lunch. My bf also asked me if was. and then told me "I'm not gonna break up with you over it or anything. Its fine."
I've had a terrible headache along with the last couple weeks along with a back ache, and I sleep all the time, I normally suffer from insomnia and so its weird for me to be this tired all the time. So I'm waiting till Saturday though for my test to be taken. I'll keep you all updated.

If your getting all these symptoms then you would be able to get a positive on a hpt if you were preg. Why are you waiting again?

These are some major major symptoms! A lot of women (MOST WOMEN) don't feel anything like this until many months into their pregnancy. Like the back pain, for instance, and the eating for two thing? Yeah, not 14 days after unprotected sex.

Like Maddie said, if you are experiencing this many big time symptoms, take a test. If they are related to pregnancy, your test would be positive.

ok, I will in the morning, I also discovered I can't stand the smell of pizza, I'll let you guys know what the test says. BTW According to calculators I'm supposedly almost 5 weeks....but I had sex 2 weeks ago. Hows that?

I have heard of women saying they had couple periods and they were pregnant. Don't know if that true or not but maybe if you are pregnant you were pregnant from before back.

ok, so I just got off the phone with my bf, he wants me to take the test tomorrow to find out. My friend who is a med student said for me to give it another week. What do you guys think? I was thinking about taking it saturday so I'd have that whole 14 day thing going.

If these are real preg symptoms then you are more than ready to test. I mean, if you don't have enough HCG to get a positive on a hpt then these aren't pregnancy symtpms.

Uh, why not buy a two pack of pregnancy tests. Take one today/tomorrow and, hey, this is a really crazy idea! If it is negative and you still don't have your period in a week, you can take the second one.

why dont you just test?
you missed a period, it would be very accurate if you tested like..tomorrow than waiting another week. i dont think you need to worry about waiting 14 days or whatver, a missed period is when you can test, also a pregnancy testing box says you could have done it 4 days before your expected period, any time will be accurate to give you a positive or negative.
