I am 26 and married and have been on the same birth control for 5 years. I am very regular and have never been late for more than a day if that. Also I have in the past 5 years maybe missed a pill once or twice and just took it as soon as I remembered with no problems. Well this morning I woke up spotting the kind of dark colored, but light spotting i usually get at the end of my period and having mild cramps, how i feel before i get my period. But I am not supposed to get my period for 7 more days and I still have 4 days of birth control left. The reason I am worried is because this month I forgot a pill and dont know when I did, when I noticed a week ago I took two pills that night to catch up. I have had sex with my husband with no other birth control and I am worried I could be pregnant, which is not what we are ready for. Or if this is something else. I have been under a lot of stress lately, and for the last three weeks were not physically active and yesterday started working out again. So I am wondering the likely hood I could be pregnant or if i am freaking out for no reason.
