i had a lost tampon, & when i realized it had been there for 2 dys, I kept telling myseld that i took it out, quit worrying about it, but ii had t check & there it was. looking grey, I had put it in after i spotted very very lightly 2 days earlier, not even enought for a panty liner. but on the i put in a tampon cuz i had wiped & saw a bit more spotting. i was certain it was aunt flow. But wouldnt i have bled through my lost tampong, it got lost. i shoulve gotten a full blown period on the 4th, it is now the 13th. So i am wondering if by doin that, could it have stopped my period. i did feel fine, didnt even have cramps from it, & no iinfection. but and that was on the April 6th when i removed it. well since the 10th i have been having cramps, i still consider myself not to have a period cause if i had, then i believe blood would been on the tampon or i would've leaked. the cramps are speratic, lower back pain...But i wouldve had to get pregnant a week b4 my period. is that normal..also have a lil gas in my stomach area, like bubbly feeling. if that makes since. can someone plz tell me?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The altered bleeding and symptoms could be suggestive of pregnancy if you were sexually active after your last periods. The lighter bleeding, cramps, low back pain, gassy feeling etc., could be suggestive of pregnancy too. Wait and watch for your next periods. Look out for development of any other new/associated symptoms that could suggest possibility of pregnancy or infection. Visit your doctor/gynecologist soon if you do not get your next periods normally or if you develop any new symptoms for a thorough evaluation to look for the cause for your symptoms. Get started on appropriate treatment as indicated.
Take care.
