Sounds like you may need to switch birth controls. Call the doctor and ask about it (you may not need to go in).

I had problems with this pill, too. My periods lasted 9 days instead of the normal 5 and I got cramps so bad, much worse than without the pills. I figured I couldn't take birth control pills or something (I was only taking them because I was on Accutaine). A couple of years later, I went to a gynecologist and asked about it. She said it's fairly common for some women on the multiple dose packs. I've been on a single-dose type pack for over a year and haven't had any problems.

it is also kinda swollen on my right side between my belly button and hip bone. If I put pressure on it it hurts.
