Okay... so I have been reading up on the subject on all the ways (some surprising) that you can get pregnant.

So maybe I am just paranoid, but I just want some clarification or advise.

My boyfriend and I were making out pretty heavy about 6 days ago, and he ended up ejaculating near me. I was wearing panties but I think a bit of semen got on them. I changed out of those panties about 15 minutes later. And I am taking the birth control Yaz. Normally I wouldn’t be worried, but someone told me that sperm can travel through thin fabric like your underwear. I did a bit of research and find that certain sources say yes, and others say no. Which is true??

However, about 3 days ago it was like my period started, and its 9 or so days away! There was a lot of the brown, odorless discharge and now bleeding. I read about implantation bleeding, but it is not described as being this heavy.

So... could be possible that I ended up getting pregnant, or am I just having an early period?

if you are on birth control and taking it as directed then it wouldnt have mattered much if the semen was on your panties. yes, they can get through the fabric, but they would also have to travel up through the vagina (for the ones that even made it through the fabric) and even then if you take the pill as directed then even if they managed to make it to your uterus, you wouldnt be ovulating. so i dont think you are pregnant. just paranoid. the bleeding could be spotting. the pill even says that spotting may occur especially if you just started the pill a month or two ago. but implantation bleeding (from what i have read up on) is more of a pinking red color. it isnt like period blood really. its more of a lighter color.

Okay, now I don't feel so stressed about the whole matter. I suppose when my period comes around and if it doesn't show up, then I'll probably panic.

I've been on Yaz for about 5 months now, and I have never had spotting before.
