Q: Early Period after taking ECP

I took ECP a week ago and i got my periods before 3 days back which was two weeks early. The bleeding is heavy. I am having back pain little more than usual along with abdominal pain. Is this Normal?

Unfortunately yes, but the good news is that it typically means you're not pregnant. Smile

ECPs have some nasty side effects, but they usually go away within 3 months-- most within the first week. Some typical side effects are breast tenderness, irregular bleeding, nausea, and various aches or cramps. Chances are, the only side effect that will bother you as long as three months is irregular bleeding or spotting, so relax if your periods are a little messed up for awhile because you're pretty much in the clear for pregnancy.
