Q: Early Medical Abortion

I had an early medical abortion on 27th February. It all seemed to go as expected. However, I have just taken a pregnancy test and it is still showing that I am pregnant. I was advised to do the test 3 weeks after the procedure so I understand I am 2 days early in doing it. I have not had sex since the procedure so there is no way i have concieved since. Is it possible that I am still pregnant after so much bleeding ( passed many plum sized clots) or is it likely that my hormones have not yet returned to normal?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any help/advice much appreciated.

Sorry, it was 27th April, not Febriuary - just under 3 weeks ago!
