I have been on the Nuvaring for 9 months now. I have not had a problem before. It works just as it says it does. I insert a ring for 3 weeks, during which I am cycle free, and then the week I take the ring out, I have my peroid. I have not missed a week. I have not taken the ring out during the weeks its supposed to be in. I always take them out and insert new ones at roughly the same time every time. Usually when I do have my period in the ring free week, I dont cramp. I do however, have an ache in my lower back and sometimes through my hips and thighs for about 2 days right before my period. Friday the 27th was just beginning my 3rd week of my ring. I would be taking the ring out this Thursday, the 5th to begin my ring free week, but the morning of Friday the 27th, I started bleeding. At first it was really light and I figured it must be spotting because that has been known to happen with this particular form of birth control from time to time, but the bleeding continued and got heavier. And today is Monday, the 2nd and I am still bleeding. I assume it to be an early period, but I cant explain why. And Since Friday I have been having cramps off and on, which I normally dont have. These are not in my back or my legs, but they are in my lower front of my torso. Where most females I know of have cramps. I have not yet taken the ring out, but im not sure what is wrong with me. About Tuesday of last week my face broke out really bad. I always have a few pimples but this time it went into acne overdrive. They were all over my face. And then a couple days later, the early period started. I assume the two to be connected but Im not completely sure. Whats wrong with me, or is this fairly normal?
