I have three holes in my ear. I can only wear gold earring in them. Had them over 20 years. All of a sudden a few days ago I felt pain in the middle earring. I didn't feel anything there. It was itchy and red. The next day it felt all crusty and shiny smoothe. I took the earings out. I put alcohol on my ear. No help. I soaked it with epson salt. I put it on a face cloth and held on and off. I even used black salve thinking maybe it was a pimple that had to come to a head. Nothing helped and it hurts even more. It is only the bottom of the earlobe. Looks twice the size of the other one. Never happened before. Any ideas?
