Q: Earache remedies ?

What are remedies for ear aches? Which ones work and which ones don't? Also, we have tried an remedy that calls for sesame oil. We didn't have any sesame oil so we used olive oil and sweet oil. Does this make much difference?

The most effective cure for ear infection is adequate antibiotic to which the bacteria are susceptible.
The reported effects of sesame oil and olive oil and sweet oil are not same and can not be expected to have same effect when replaced with each other.
