I take Lyrica for migraines and when I increased the dosage I began having severe pain in my right ear. I talked to my MD about it but he checked my ear and said it was fine. There was nothing he could do. I did not consider that it may be caused by the medication until I had to cut back in order to not run out before my next RX arrived. When my refill arrived and I resumed my full dosage the ear pain came back off the chart! I was searching the net for info and what I found was a lot of individual cases with the same problem. They are all getting the same answers from their Doctors, that there is nothing wrong with their ears. Lots of conjecture on what it may be but no real diagnosis. My question is: Has anyone considered that the Lyrica is causing the pain?! Maybe it's an allergic reaction or an undocumented side effect? Please let me know if you have any experience or insight on this. Thanks.
