after school today i found a lump behind my ear and was wondering if someone could help me understand why its there because there isnt one on the other ear i also hae been having some problems with the same ear

please help

Sounds like a swollen lymph node. They swell when the body is fighting off an infection or illness such as a cold or allergies.
