Q: ear lobe swollen

I got a question...
the bottom hanging part of my ear lobes are red and hot and i think swollen (i have no piercings or anything) - the right side seems to be worse than the left...
it doesnt seem my entire ears is red and hot and swollen but just the lobes...
the rest of the ear is normal... i think...

i checked my temperature last night it was 98.1 and i ask b/c im away in tx visiting my gf

anyone know whats going on?
