Headache and Migraines Answer A7105

According to the symptoms you reported (feeling of blocked ears, funny feeling in nose, burning feeling in head, chest infection two weeks ago), it seems possible that you might be experiencing inflammation of the ears which might be related to inflammation of the neighboring structures (nasal cavity, sinuses, Eustachian tube).

All these are considered upper respiratory tract infections and should be easily treated with antibiotics.

You might want to visit your family doctor for a swab from the nose and throat to try to detect the bacteria that might be causing the condition as well as the most effective antibiotic. If neither bacteria nor inflammation is found then the pain might be related to a migraine. Since there are several causes for migraines you might be referred to a neurologist for additional examination.
