Hello, i hope someone can help me. I had a major ear infection almost 2 years ago so bad i was dizzy when walking and litteraly bed ridden for about a week my face was swollen and my ear hurt so much i couldnt even lightly touch it. I was 19 at the time and living with my mom, were pretty poor and couldnt afford a doctor visit and since i was 19 i was offically off my dad's health insurance from the military.

Im 21 now and im still on minimum wage jobs i cant afford to pay for anything right now.

My ear after the infection was gone still bothers me everyday and i cant stop thinking about it, its driving me crazy. My ear feals full and i have lost a significant amount of hearing from it. I can still hear people talking and me typing and stuff like that altho at a lower capacity then my other ear, but sounds like birds outside my closed window which i have no problem hearing with my good ear, or bubbles in the fish tank i cant hear anymore i did a online hearing test and i cant hear the last 2 decibles which my good ear can.

If i listen to music or watch TV i can tell the diff between both ears. If someone was walking up behind me i couldnt hear them if my good ear was plugged. Im not sure if its getting worse or not but its not getting better.

What is wrong with my ear ? Why has my hearing gone away this much ? Why does my ear always feal full. I dont even have earwax in this ear anymore the only thing comming out of it is a white/yellowish thick fluid but it doesnt actually drain when i sleep i know its there by sticking my finger lightly in my ear when i pull it out the tip has this fluid on it. I know yea sticking fingers in your ears is bad but its the only way i could figure out what was in there. Iv tried flushing the ear out with hot/warm water and nothing comes out.

I dont have ringing in my ear and i can still "pop" my ears im one of the few people that can freely pop my ears you know if pressure builds up underwater or in a airplane without opening my mouth or holding my nose.
