Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the cause for the absence of periods without examining you and going ahead with further evaluation. Hormonal & blood work-up along with ultrasound scan results correlated with your symptoms and examination results will help to identify the underlying cause. If the current treatment has not helped, you should consider reporting back to your treating gynecologist for further evaluation or consider taking a second opinion from another gynecologist.
Take care.
