My 20 year old daughter, a physical therapist assistant student, has had a constant dull thudding headache 24/7 since before thanksgiving! It gets much worse when she lay on her stomach. When she gets up from laying down, it does not ease back off! there has to be a cuse for this? 2 cat scans, mri with contrast, lumbar puncture, emergency room visits, 2 neurologists, i chiropractor, many, many failed drugs. My baby has had no relief except when she had her MRI? When they placed the helmet on her head and packed it with cusioning, the pain was gone. She can't go through life wearing a football helmet, but this has to make sense to someone. Lately the pain is severe when trying to lift something. We are scheduled to 2 headache clinics, but they arent until MAY? So any help is welcome.

Thanks,
Worried Father

Extremely eHealthy
This could be some type of vascular headache, like migraine.
Because, it is known that applying a pressure on head tightly around the head, compresses the dilated blood vessels, and provides relief of migraine headache pain.
