I have been having problems with a dull headache, swollen, heavy feeling in my airway and a buzzing, cricket-like sound in my ears. At the base of my skull on the right, between the ear and spine is a marble-sized lump that is stationary. No pain there, just noticed the lump. What could this be?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the cause for your symptoms (headache, swollen & heavy airways, buzzing sound in ears, lump) without examining you. You should consider visiting your doctor/ENT specialist at the earliest for thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause. Treatment as needed (based on examination and investigations results) would be started to help you resolve the symptoms. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor and report any unusual/new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet & lifestyle.
Take care.
