Dry Itchy Round spots on forearms.

I have developed a Dry Itchy Round spots on forearms. when infection started, there were red bubbles and later on they started to expand in size. I am applying anti fungal cream on daily basis however, theres no much improvement. Not sure whether they are ring worms.

Please advise any oral medicine which I can take along with good anti fungal ointment.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

It is difficult to analyse a skin condition without a complete medical history and a visual ‎‎‎examination of the lesion. ‎

The lesions described do not appear to be due to a fungal infection. They could more likely be due to bacterial folliculitis.

Both conditions have a different line of management. Antifungal creams will not help in bacterial infections and vice versa antibiotics, will not clear fungal infections.

Hence You might consult with your doctor for a examination and proper diagnosis and appropriate management.
