I'm 26yo male and I have a quite embarrassing problem for my age.
Allso I'm uncut and planning to stay that way...
I'll write the whole long story if anyone has or have had same kind of problems.
Despite my age I have been only recently able to retract my foreskin.
Until about one month ago my foreskin was stuck to glans.
(I raised in a strict religious environment and everything about genital area was taboo, even cleaning. Thanks a lot mom and dad...)
I slowly and carefully managed to retract my skin in a few days, no ripping, no blood or anything dramatic,
It wasn't even painfull at all, though it felt quite unpleasant.
I don't remember ever having any infections on my foreskin but for some reason it was like glued to glans.
After couple of days I was able to retract with no problem.
Glans were wery sore to touch at this point.
when washing with the foreskin back, the water termperature had to be exactly right or it felt like sub-zero/boiling.
In couple of week, glans got used to open air/water and touch.
Now the problems started...
I noticed that the skin at the base of glans was quite scurfy and had collected some white crud in there.
(Yes, now I know it's called smegma)
I thought is was some fungal infection and bought some antifungal with hydrocortisone in it, BIG MISTAKE.
After a week of use, cortisone affected my skin agressively. Inner side of my foreskin and glans got WERY dry.
I allso may have washed my knob too much, two times a day.
I still belived that I had an infection so I changed the lotion to antifungal with no hydrocortisone and used that about two weeks.
After two weeks I stopped using that cream, my skin and glans were still a bit dry.
I started to use some moiturising lotion after showering, it kept the dryness away.
I tried to stop using the lotion but my glans got wery dry and thin layer of skin shed off everytime I washed it.
It feels like my glans are not able to keep any moisture anymore. It is uncomfortable even with moiturising lotion.
I have washed under foreskin only once a day for two days now and I hope it gets better.
So, here goes my questions:
Did I ruin my skin for good, or does it heal by time?
Anyone had similar problems?
Thanks for any advice!
