I am currently lived in china and have been diagnosed with chlamydia. My eyes are also infected. They have tried a number of eye drops and antibiotics.

1 gram zithromax (azithromycin)
100mg for 14 days doxycycline
Levofloxacin tablets 0.5 grams for 8 days

and ganciclovir;levofloxacin hydrochloride, ofloxacin eye ointment and another levofloxacin

Again the drugs are not working (just finished the levofloxacin tablets and my eyes are turning red again), so i am returning to the hospital on Monday. What do you suggest?

Redness of your eyes could be a side effect of ofloxacin eye ointment, sign of reinfection or not responding to treatment if the disease was caught in the later stage.
Although, the antibiotic resistance isn't a common clinical problem for chlamydia, still, there are few reported cases of chlamydia strains being resistant to doxycycline, and strains that are multi-resistant to doxycycline, azithromycin and ofloxacin.

If it is confirmed Chlamydia, other possibly antibiotic regimens (according to the CDC) to consider with your physician include: Erythromycin and Amoxicillin. Also you do not indicate what symptoms you have. Some times even after the Chlamydia bacteria is eradicated, it may takes a little bit of time for the symptoms to completely go away.
