Hi! my name is Rod and I just have undergone an appedix removal because all symptoms that I had were all showing that I had acute appendicitis. So the doctor scheduled me for operation. During the operation, the doctor noticed that my appendix was not inflamed and I'm negative from appendicitis, so he scrutinied my intestine and near the appendix he saw a fish bone which was making a hole on my bowel as per my doctor. So my doctor removed the fish bone which causes the pain and the appendix as well since according to him, the operation is for appendix so he removed it even if it is not inflamed. After the operation, everything gets normal and the pain I was complaining for has disappeared also. It is now my 5th day after the operation and I went back to my doctor this morning and asked him some advises on what are the things I'm limited to do. He said I can walk and walk but not run, I can carry things but not heavy things, also I can try bymyself if I can drive a car already.
So I tried to drive my car which has manual transmission and I drove my wife to her office and after driving I got scared because I realized that I should have not driven the car since it could rapture the stiches of my operation.
My question is that...is the wound on my intestine (cause by operation) can be rapured on what I have done? is there a possibility that the cutted part of my intestine which has stiches will open? I'm really worried on it and now I'm observing my abdomen if there are pains that will develope....
I hope you give me answer soon so my worries will cleared.
Thanks,
Rod
