Drinking at 3 weeks pregnant??? Posted: 07-05-08 02:25am
I'm a few days late on my period, my last
period was June 5. I just got back from
Vegas the other day and of course was
drinking the whole time I was there. I
know its not good if I am pregnant, but
how bad is it exactly if I was only 3 1/2
weeks pregnant? What could happen to the
baby if I am pregnant?

It's unlikely to cause any harm at that
stage of pregnancy. MANY women drink
(sometimes in large quantities) before
finding out they are pregnant. The
important thing is to stop once you do
find out.
I didn't find out I was pregnant till I
was about 7 weeks and I had drank and
smoked many times in the time I was
pregnant. Now i'm 16 weeks and everything
is fine

Ok thank you! Thats a relief. I figured it
wouldn't hurt anything but I wasn't

The only thing you can do now is wait and
see if you're even pregnant. You might be
worrying over nothing. And even if you are
pregnant, you can't undo the past. All you
can do is control your actions from here
on out - which means no more drinking
until you know for sure!

You will most likely be okay, and it
should not harm the fetus at that stage of
life, if there is one.
