I had a colposcopy 1 week ago and I wanted
know it was safe to douche at this point.
I am still getting a little of the
discharge from the blood and the medicine
mixing, how long should that last?

Douching is not a good. It clears out all
the 'good' bacteria your body creates and
can cause things like overgrowth of yeast,
etc.
Ask your doctor at your next appointment
(in another week or two?) when or if it
would be appropriate to douche.

I actually dont douche regularly but I
wanted to try and get rid of the discharge
but I guess I will have to wait until it
stops on its own. I thought that it would
be gone by now since it has been a week
but thanks for the info.
