Q: double ear infection

Two nights ago I woke in the middle of the night with horrible pain and pressure inboth ears the pain was so bad I went to the ER. the doctor said I had an ear infection with possible ear drum preferation. gave me ciprofloxacin oral 500mg twice daily as well ofloxacin drops for my ear. so its been I have been on treatment for 56 hours. and shceduled to work tonite at 4pm. so is it advisable to go to work in food service industry.(bartender) or will I run the chance of getting someone sick?
