Q: dosage of fish oil supplements ?

Hi, I'm taking Lindberg Fish Oil softgels in 1,200mg twice a day. It says it is molecularly distilled concentrated and has 600mg of EPA and DHA (Omega-3). What does this mean? Is twice a day enough? What happens if I overdose say 5 capsules a day if I really want it to be more effective?
