Ok, so I was 4days late on my period which is really rare for me.. and I started it this morning, and now it is still a really light flow and a light pink/red color. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it said negative. But I show signs of early pregnancy! I'm tired, tender breasts, moody, and this would be the "week 4" stage where spotting and nausea come in which I have been nauseous too... well when I started my period this morning... It was only spotting and then picked up enough to wear I needed to use a tampon but when I changed it... It was really light pink/red which it never is.. its normally a dark steady flow! Even though the pregnancy test said negative coould it have been a false negative? My ovulation day was October 3rd, 2012 and my bf and i had sex and he came in me on that day! My first day of my last period was Sept 19, 2012...

You should take more than one pregnancy test at home to make sure it wasn't a false negative. Also, even if your period is usually one way, a lot of things can make small things different. Stress or changing habits of some kind can make your period appear lighter or heavier. It doesn't always have to be the same. Go to the doctor for more in depth answers. That is the only sure way you will get the right answers

I had similar issues. My period came the beginning of October and last until the 5th. It came again two weeks later for 2-3 days. I had ovulation pain November 1st me and my husband had sex the same day after it went away. I have essure so I don't get pregnant but I'm currently having pregnancy symptoms and don't know when to expect my period. I have mild cramps here and there, increase appetite, lower back pain, tired and water white discharge. I even get nausea sometimes. Home test was negative.
