Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The dominant follicle should grow upto 20mm or more in size for ovulation to occur. If the problem is lack of ovulation, then you should consider discussing about getting started on insulin modifiers for better response of ovaries for ovulation. Insulin modifiers along with use of ovulation inducing agents and HCG trigger injections should help you with ovulation and getting pregnant (provided there are no other factors involved that can affect fertility level). The ovulation after Clomid use usually occurs after about 4-5 days of taking the last pill. If you are trying for pregnancy, monitor cervical mucus changes and the BBT (basal body temperature) charting to predict your ovulation (along with the follicular study) and time your intercourse for having fruitful results. Have intercourse in positions that allow for deeper penetration for high deposit of semen. Have diet with foods rich in zinc content to ensure better maturation of egg and sperms. If these measures fail, option of IVF or ICSI should be considered. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and clarification. You can also consider taking a second opinion from an infertility specialist and then proceed with further management.
Take care.
