Q: indigestion when eating protein

I can't eat any protein without getting alot of indigestion. One doctor told me that is cause my gallbladder is not working properly. I thought the gallbladder digested mostly fats.

Any input on this?

I just had my gallbladder removed, and I have terrible indigestion when I eat protein. I hope you find answers so I can find some
