Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment whether excessive use of caffeine can affect the efficacy of hormonal birth control pills. Excessive use of caffeine can irritate bladder mucosa causing urination problems. If worried about efficacy getting affected, consider using back-up protection while having intercourse to have additional protection. For further clarification and assistance, visit your doctor/gynecologist.
Take care.
