curlywirly, don't be in a hurry, even if your man is, once you loose your virginity you can never give it to anyone else. if he truely loves you he will be patient & wait for you, if not is it worth surrendering something that your true love might cherish in the future, we males don't think of love so much at the age of 16 or so our hormones are raging & our imaginations are really active, where as the female response is more about romance & togeatherness so just take your time & think about the decision that will affect the rest of your life.
