Q: Doctor give a false negative ????

I wonder if anyone can help me???

The start of my last period was 18th Feb so I am due for my next period possibly tomorrow.

I experienced some spotting about 2 weeks into my cycle (brown with red spotting) and the past few days I have been having sharp twinges in my right hand side (near to where ovary is)

Because of this niggling pain I went to the doctors today for a check up, and he asked me to provide him with a urine sample. He used a pg test called Clearview but it came back negative.

He explained that my twinges could be a possible cyst (i do have mild pcos) or signs of period coming.

So my question is.....Can a doctor give you a false negative? and would it be to early for me to tell pg anyway as I am only due on tomorrow?

I hope someone can help x x x

Extremely eHealthy
IF it is a pee test then yes there could be a false negative..however if a blood test was done, those are pretty much never wrong
