Yes, very fortunate to be covered under my husbands company. Sure helps when you ahve to have a major surgery or need meds every month. I did not have health insurance for years, and it was tough.

Don't have it because I have been denied multiple times due to the complications of my eating disorder. Also, my hubby works as a contractor and doesn't get employee benefits from the companies he works for. :\ I swear, I probably spend a good 1000$ a month in doctor bills.

I live in Canada. We have health care. Although in my area we have a shortage of Doctors. Specialists are in high demand. Being covered is nice, but you have to be able to find a specialist when you need one. We have waiting lists years long, unless you are willing to pay for it!

My medical aid was depleted since April this year. My condition is only covered by the next level up but it's too expensive and I can't change medical-aids because then it's a "Pre-existing condition" and won't be covered in any case...
