After going to different doctors various times I finally had one 2 days ago who was willing to listen to me and try to help me. He put me on antibiotics for PID. But when I researched PID online, it says PID is caused by STDs, which I know I don't have, or by a miscarriage, which I also know I haven't had. Also my symptoms are not the same as the PID symptoms I have found online. I am leaning more towards ovarian cysts, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, or appendicitis. My main symptom is PELVIC PAIN. The pain encompasses my pelvis and all the way down but the pain is not urethra or vaginal pain - it is body pain, and even hurts a little down my inner thighs; also on the front towards my hips. It is CONSTANT. That whole area is also swollen, so much so that I don't fit into a lot of my pants. I have other symptoms such as upset stomach when I eat and others but my biggest problem is the pain. Any thoughts?

No, when I gave the sample they checked for a Bladder Infection which came back negative. He did a Pelvic Exam on me and sent away a test for I don't know what which I won't know the results for for at least a week. I think he diagnosed me with Pelvic Inflammatory Disease based on my description of symptoms.

PID is when you have chlamdia or gonorrhea for a long time it inflamed in your reproductive organs. if you get it a lot it could leave you fertile.
it's a lot of other things that you can have with the symptoms you have.
the doctor took a specimen of your cervix to see if there is something wrong like an STD or infection.
