Depends on the guy. Some like it smooth, others aren't bothered.
If you're brave enough, try waxing. I'd suggest getting it done in a salon rather than at home, but it depends on how you handle pain. Personally, I prefer to use a bikini trimmer to get rid of most of it and then shave the rest in the shower. It can be itchy when it grows in though.
Also, your main reason for doing this shouldn't be for a man: it should be for yourself. I do it because it makes me feel fresher and cleaner, and the fact that my guy likes it is a bonus. If you're with someone, ask him what he would like, and if you want to do it then go for it. If you're not with anyone, then it's up to you completely. You never know what guys like, and really they shouldn't be too bothered about it, they should be chuffed they got that far. If they say anything about it or tell you they don't like it, then put your knickers back on and tell them where to go, they're not worth it.

My husband loves it when I take it all off. Plus ever since I started I can't stand it once it gets too long. Seems things stick to it no matter how hard I scrub, lol (eww!).

It depends on the guy. If you're in a relationship, you may just want to ask what he prefers. It may sound embarrassing...but it can turn into an interesting conversation. Smile

I will say this, though. It seems to me that guys just prefer it to be trimmed at least. Many guys won't demand to have it all shaved off as long as it's not really long and looks clean. So, you don't have to try and kill yourself trying to get every hair down there.

I personally feel cleaner when I shave it all off too Lilly...and I know what you mean by eww lol. Nothing sexier than a period dingleberry eh? But anyway back to the OP question. It is a matter of personal preference. Some men like it bald, some like it with a bit of hair, some like chewbacca. But if YOU like it trimmed or bald but it just gives you that nasty rash or you can't get it all, try trimming it with clippers (there are some clippers designed for this, I have seen them, just don't remember where) You avoid the itchyness because there is still hair left and you haven't irritated the skin. And you dont have to worry about getting it all, I sometimes miss a spot or two. And personally I don't think a man is really gonna care whether your vag is perfectly manicured or not. Its not like we can see EVERYTHING down there. Even with a mirror it is still hard.

I agree, you should ask the guy if your in a relationship but it really just depends. My boyfriend actually likes it when I don't shave believe it or not, though like everyone else says, I like shaving it all off because it feels cleaner.

If you are concerned about grooming, then you must know that apart from hair, clothes, smelling good, etc. your skin too needs attention. And this is not only if you have blackheads and pimples.
Here’s a regular skin care regimen that you should follow:
• Follow the wash, scrub, tone, moisturize routine for squeaky clean skin.
• Face washes are a better option over soap, which tend to dry the skin.
• Scrubbing the face with a good face scrub helps dislodge dead skin cells and stubborn dirt.
• Toning the skin lends it a healthy glow and moisturizing is a must do for soft, plump skin.
• Incidentally it’s not a bad idea to go in for a facial once a fortnight. Most men saloons offer facials that are good for the skin and are a great way to relax too!

I think it depends on you and your guy. Some guys love hair while others are turned off by it. My guy prefers me to be shaved, but he likes it all the time which ever way..lol.

Now that Im pregnant I cant keep it maintained and he likes it just the same. But I do think every man likes a woman that keeps it trimmed and looking nice.

I think most men prefer it VERY short or gone. Try using hair conditioner to shave with like shaving cream. I know it sound stupid but it works great! Also cut the hair very short with scissors first.

try everything :)
depends on the guy, mine doesnt really care that much, and seen as i have gone through phases of being completely bare down there and obsessive about waxing, to having the short all over, then to the landing strip...he finds it sexy no matter what, provided obviousley that the bikini line is neat and tidy Smile

he recently asked me just to grow it as he hasnt had it like that, im not convinced and dont really like having hair there, i just feel cleaner and more feminin without it Smile but ill have a go for him and see what happens x

to the original poster.

#1. what do you care what a guy thinks. you should be more concerned about what is comfortable to you ...how you feel etc.

#2. a guy who loves you will accept you as you are. no worries about shaved or not, trimmed or not, or au naturale.

think about this. assert yourself and be proud of who you are for your own reasons. the guy will either accept you or he won't. if he doesn't, that will be his tough canones and your good fortune because he wouldn't have accepted you in the end anyway.

Guys don't really care. When a man is horny he won't care how much hair you got there trust me. My husband don't care at all, I think because he doesn't care for shaving his pubes so you know he doesn't expect then that I shave, men are just not into details as we women are. He has mentioned me thought that he doesn't like I shave it all because he thinks it looks like a undeveloped girl and not a woman. So I just leave a strip of hair. I don't shave because I did laser hair removal so most of the hair is permanently gone so that's nice.

I personally like women to have some hair down there, but not a whole forest, if I should describe it. It's natural, hair wouldn't grow there if it wasn't supposed to grow there. I think it's there for a reason and I don't like it to be all nude when shaved.

You are actually a virgin aren't you? You have written some pretty explicit posts in previous forums ... a little bit gross really.

Not really ... that sort of turned my stomach a little thinking about wet vag hair in a 58 year olds mouth. But you have fun with that. Bye!
