I'm 23 years old girl and very clueless Cuz well i'm a newbie with having a b.f It's been about 5 months since i have gotten with my b.f., he's my first real relationship. And he's very liberal....and i have been raised in the old fashion modest ways. Mainly cuz ,i respect my way. But however me and my b.f recently got to third base...and its rather scary. Cuz i'm enjoying it but i'm wondering if there are any medical hazards that can occur due to fingering.
i make him wash his hands and keep his nails trimmed...but still
i'm very clueless with this whole aspect of this, and i'd really really appreciate some info....cuz i don't want to get anything weird and whatnot

and how do i know if i'm still a virgin...cuz i heard if men's fingering can rupture the hymen....and for me that's not good...mainly due to my parents...in past sometimes i myself did it as i enjoyed it.

and....recently today i have developed cramps due to the fingering my b.f did to me....i'm really worried...it mayb be my period cuz its due to coming soon..but still...i normally never get cramps...Although i never had intercourse with him....he ask me to penetrate but i am not ready fr it....why it happened??if he penetrates me will i get pregnant???will it cause me any problem after my marriage??

ShwetaRai, Since I am in a different culture than you, I cannot advise you as to what you should do.

As long as his hands are well kept and clean, nothing can happen from fingering. It can be very pleasurable and give you an orgasm. Normally your clitoris is much more sexually sensitive than your vagina. So rubbing it is much more likely to give you pleasure than fingering yout vagina.

Fingering and masturbation can rupture your hymen. This however does not mean that you are not a virgin any more. It is also not a given that you will rupture your hymen, especially at your age your hymen is very elastic.

If he penetrates you with his penis, you will be for sure not a virgin any more and your hymen will almost guaranteed be busted.

If you decide to have sex, you need to protect yourself from pregnancy, infections and STDs. You can avoid pregnancy by not having sex or making him wear a condom and/or taking birth control pills. You can prevent infections and STDs by avoiding sex or making him wear a condom.

The safest by far is to take the birth control pill and make him wear a condom.

Do not feel pressured to allow him to do anything, especially if it is going to cause problems for you later. It should be a decision you can live with. Make it clear to him what you will allow and what not.

Take care and please be very careful!

there are no obvious changes to your body but definitely if you engage in sexual intercourse with any person other than your boyfriend (future husband for example)then surely that person will come to know.

the first time is different for every woman. some experience considerable discomfort while for others it is a relatively easier experience. the important thing is to communicate with your partner and be honest about what you are comfortable with and with what you aren't.

as to why you enjoy it more with your boyfriend than while masturbating or with your female friends i have no idea.

condoms come with instructions on them so you both will know how to use them if you read.

as for protection, you could get onto the pill prior to starting your sexual realtionship but i suggest you speak with a gynaecologist and do not take this decision on your own. even if you plan to start on the pill afterwards, it would be better to do so under the guidance of a doctor.

If you want to do something sexual, do it.

Don't let dated morals set you down, the people that set them also wrote the book on "How To Oppress Other Races".

Your hymen used to seal off your insides from the outside world inside your mothers uterus. This kept fluid and germs out of your insides when it forned. Your hymen is right in the vaginal entrance. (your vagina is the hole and 'pipe' going inside your body. The rest of the area is called your vulva.

The hymen is like the foil seal on a pill or condiment bottle (only with a hole in it). The concept and position is the same. So if you separate your inner lips with your fingers you should be able to see the hymen around the outside edge of your vaginal entrance. Use a mirror if it is too far back to see.

It is often difficult to recognize the hymen. In reality, things are not as smooth and clear cut down there as we are taught in biology.

Your cervix is way inside your vagina, right at the top. It is nowhere close to your hymen.

During puberty, the estrogen surge you experienced left your hymen thick and elastic. It is thus very likely that it will not be removed by fingering, especially if done carefully. The best and most fun way to masturbate is by rubbing your clitoris, and keeping things out of your vagina, especially if your hymen is important to you.

Your hymen and your virginity does not have a direct relationship. Normally a virgin will still have an intact hymen. It is however possible to be a virgin and have no hymen, or have a hymen but not be a virgin.

Take care!
