Hi everyone, I have heard lots of stories about people and their dreams….some say it scares them….some laugh at it….some see something good coming……I have never experienced such dreams…..I would like to know that does a dream mean really anything……does it hold a special meaning…or its just that people build something up!!!!

i do not now if it is something we make up but i have experienced such dreams and i think that they may have a specil meaning to them. A few years back (2 or 3) i had a dream about meeting a gentle kind boy a few years older then me and falling in love at first sight. Well the week later my best friend introduced me to her older brother and we fell in love and are still together now. We have a daughter aged 18 months and twins due in november.
So, yes i personally think that dreams do have meanings to them.

Re : Do the dreams mean anything!!!!
There are two faces to it…some believe and some do not. Everyone has his own story. But I feel that the dreams are somewhat a part of our life and they do convey a message. Like I had a dream of going on jogging and I was continuously jogging ….and the dream broke. And when I had the dream analysis I found that it meant my motivation was becoming higher and when I put it in my life…its true. I am feeling motivated with the things around i.e. to be more hard-working and achieve something.

I don't believe they can tell your future or anything, but they can tell you what you want. Or rather, what your subconscious wants, which isn't always the best. Dream analysis is really interesting and I do believe in the Freudian theory, that dreams convey messages about secret subconscious desires. I love dreaming, it's the best place to be-my own little fantasy land where I am anything I want! lol

I think that logically you dream of either things you want, either things you fear. However as we say above, some things are subconscious, you don't always dream of precise objects or persons.

I once dreamed that we were 3 knights and we had to battle against 3 other giant knights in an isolated fortress surrounded by water. My 2 allies got killed, and I decided to flee by jumping in the water, where they couldn't follow me.

Someone told me from a dream dictionary that the fight represent that I want to defend my principles but I have difficulties in that (opponents are bigger than us). Me being the single alive is my need of winning, and apparently jumping into water is related to sex. There was more but I didn't remember everything.

well---i dream all the time and i dont hold stock in any of it. I also think that we dream of something we want or are afraid of. I think that dream dictionary is full of bologna. I think that its just a sub conscious thought that the brain makes into a little movie as it were for us just befor we wake up

does it really mean something?
i've been having these reoccurring dreams that i'll be making a cheerleading squad this saturday. my mom (one of the coaches) already had a dream that i'll be wearing the varsity coach jacket over the winter. i had a dream that when we go to nationals, i'll be standing there along side them. if dreams like this keep happening over the course of this week, what do they mean?

I've actually dreamt the future before, my own future, I saw it in a dream and then it happened.

I wonder if people do that alot, but they just don't remember.?
