hi there

im writing to ask for some help. i am desperate for some answer pls. i cannot seem to find answers to my health problem. I have asked many people but they cannot seem to really be sure about my condition.

i have been diagnosed to have diabetes for 20 yrs now.i had it since i was a teen. few years ago, i passed out & was admitted to the hospital. Then i was diagnosed to have cerebellar peduncle & globus pallidus damage; & Diabetic ketoacidosis. then i would be in & out from the hospital due to my erratic blood glucose levels which makes me feel bad

My problem is i have very erratic blood glucose levels. I have extreme levels of blood sugar. I have hyperglycemic episodes of as high as 22.7mmols and as low 1.5 & as the machine cannot read anymore & i pass out which is i believe life-threatening.what shall i do?

another problem is...what could be the possible reason for the damage in my globus pallidus & cerebellar peduncle? is my erratic blood glucose levels related to my brain injury?

i am having insulin therapy...

how can i avoid my hypo / hyperglycemic episodes? i have been watchful of what i eat..what can i do?

help pls

thank you
