Have had these symptoms for past 3 months, with little or no change. primary care suggests "viral" infection and to let it take its course. my question is it possible to be a severe "bacterial" infection within my head, that some antibiotics may not help, but others might? I have been on 2 different antibiotics, over the past 3 months. one gave initial relief, for the first 4 of 10 days but symptoms returned. the second, a 5 day treatment, gave no relief at all. is it possible, that another different form of antibiotic may help? should I just continue to wait this out?
have been to an ENT, no fault found as well as had a head CT Scan, with all results coming back with everything fine. any ideas much appreciated. thanks
