Q: dizziness with period

Just wondering if i am having a heavier than normal period would it cause me to have dizziness. My period is usually 4 days with one day of heavy bleeding, but its been heavy since i got it and lasting longer than normal. I know periods change with time so i am not concerned with that. Just realizing that i have been dizzy since i got my period this month, also i don't eat red meat so i am not sure if it is an iron deficiency..Any info would be greatly appreciated
