Hi everyone. I started having mild dizziness and vertigo last August, which has recently become more frequent and severe. I saw an ENT and neurologist in May of this year, and they both felt that I have some sort of inner ear disorder. But then I started experiencing facial numbness of my cheek, lips, and tongue that comes and goes. The ENT tested my facial area and found weakness on the left side. He is sending me for a CT scan in July (I live in Canada, there is a long wait for tests). I also had the electronystagmography testing done to see how deteriorated my balance is. Still awaiting those results. Now for the past five days, I have been waking up with a raging headache, but it goes away after I have been up and around for awhile. Well, it subsides to a mostly unnoticeable dullness. Do you think there is something more going on here than an inner ear disorder? At what point should I push for priority testing? My MRI is not happening until September, unless some emergent symptoms come up. THank you for listening.
