Current medical status: It started out with the symptoms of RLS. With in a few months it went from the restlessness sensations to in my lower legs to a feeling of being struck by lightening in my entire leg. At times it feels like my bones are plugged into an electrical outlet. I also get stabbing pain in the bottoms of my feet, both side of my face, top of my head, behind my ears and the back side of my head. My legs are in constant pain in addition to the lighteing feeling. The restlessness that I feel is now in my hips, arms, chest, and chin. If I do not take my medication my legs are so weak that I cannot walk unassisted. Four weeks ago I starting having some pretty severe dizziness that my doctor said he thought was an ear infection even though when he looked in my ears he didn't see anything. I also have a heavy feeling on my chest that I have has since having an Ulnar Nerve Transposition 02/05/2008.
Current medical treatment: The only medications I can take with out some kind of reaction are: Ultram I take 2 5omg pills 4 times a day Lunesta One at bedtime I think it's the 3 mg dose.
Dizziness is a common symptom that can be found in many disorders including disorders (inner ear disorders) for which an ENT-specialist is in charge. Dizziness can also be due to a neurological or systemic disorder so you may also want to consult a neurologist and an internist.
If you want doctors to see you in your “real bad health situation” you can request hospitalization and continuous medical observation.
