I had Lithotripsy 3/19/09. I passed a few stones and have one left in the opposite kidney. I have been constantly DIZZY with no other noticeable symptoms. I'm not taking any medication and have no history of dizziness. Other than being constantly dizzy, I feel fine. Any ideas?

Extremely eHealthy
Dizziness could be a side effect of some painkillers or sedatives used during the procedure.
Sometimes, a medicine known as tamsulosin (smooth muscle relaxant, affecting wall muscles of urinary tract) is given after lithotripsy for shortening the stone expulsion time.
Dizziness is a side effect of this drug, too.
Also, check your blood pressure.
